What is Standupd?
It's a diary for stand-up. Log a special you streamed or a set you saw live, give it 0.5 to 5 stars, and leave a review if you have something to say. Your diary and reviews are public.
Is Standupd like Letterboxd, but for stand-up?
Yes. That's the shape of it: one page per special, half-star ratings, public diaries, and reviews attached to each title. Standupd also keeps live sets separate from streamed specials.
How many stand-up specials are on Standupd?
There are 1,740 specials from 815 comedians. We check entries against Wikipedia and keep names as the performers spell them, including Cem Yılmaz, Sofía Niño de Rivera, and Dara Ó Briain. Search is forgiving, so "Cem Yilmaz" still finds Cem Yılmaz. Browse Standupd.
Do I need the app?
No. You can keep your diary on the website: create an account, log what you've seen, rate or review it, and edit or delete it later. The iPhone app is available on the App Store; there is no Android app yet, but the website works on Android phones.
Is Standupd free?
Yes. It's free, with no ads and no algorithm deciding what you should find funny.
Do you track what I do here?
We count it, and you can turn that off. We record which pages you open, what you search Standupd for, and actions like logging a special. That is enough to tell us which specials are missing and which parts of the site nobody uses. There are no screen recordings, no ad profiles, and nothing is sold. The Privacy Policy lists every event and has the off switch.
Can I follow someone's diary in an RSS reader?
Yes. Every profile publishes one at standupd.com/u/NAME/rss.xml. The feed carries that person's last 50 entries with the rating, the date, whether it was seen live or streamed, and the review.
How do I reset my password?
Go to Forgot your password and enter the email on your account. We'll send a six-digit code. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then email us.
How do I delete my account or data?
Open Settings and choose "Delete your account". This removes your account and every entry, rating, and review you've written. You can't undo it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store before then.
How do I report a review or block someone?
Sign in and open the special. Every review has Report and Block links. We review reports within 24 hours, and automatically hide a review after several reports. If you block someone, you won't see their reviews and they won't see yours.
A special is missing from Standupd.
Search Standupd first because titles can vary. If you still can't find it, add it.
